I think cancer has touched all of us in some way or another.
Look good feel better is a charity close to my heart. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to be faced with the news that you have cancer and on top of that, to cope with the loss of your hair. For us girls, it’s our crowning glory. These women are brave and strong and I take my hat off to them.
The charity is dedicated to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of women (and teenage girls) undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer. It’s their aim to improve self-image and appearance through free group and self-help skincare and make-up workshops that create a sense of support, confidence, and wellbeing. To date, they have provided support and made a difference to more than 130,000 women.
I help out at as many of the workshops as I’m able to, at the Maggie Centre in Cambridge. Putting a smile back on their faces makes my heart sing 😊
In 2016, I started a private Social Club for business women.
Look good feel better is our chosen charity that we fundraise for, we have various events running throughout the year.
Style Heaven donates a percentage of annual profit also.
There are centres throughout the whole of the UK. If you know of anyone you think would benefit, more information and contact details are on their website.
